First off, I saw someone call Shoe Palace the “Bank of America of shoe retailers.” LOL. That’s… something. Anyway, based on some stuff I dug up, it sounds like Shoe Palace is generally considered legit. Like, *really* legit. We’re talking official retailer status. And that normally means you’re pretty safe from getting those fugazi (that’s fake, for you newbies) J’s.
Think about it, if they were consistently selling fake stuff, they’d be shut down faster than you can say “Michael Jordan.” People don’t play around when it comes to their precious sneakers. Nobody wants to pay a premium for something that’s gonna fall apart or just look…off.
But hold up, let’s not get *too* comfortable. I did see someone mention trying to sell Jordans on Mercari. And, you know, even if Shoe Palace is legit, there’s always a chance for human error, right? Maybe, *just maybe*, a fake *could* slip through. I mean, nobody’s perfect, are they? It’s probably like, a one-in-a-million kinda thing, but it’s worth keeping in the back of your mind, just sayin’.
Also, and this is just my personal opinion, I tend to be a little extra cautious when buying online. It’s just easier for scammers to operate there. I’d probably give the shoes a *real* good once-over when they arrive, you know? Check the stitching, the materials, the smell (yeah, I said it, the smell!). Google “how to spot fake Jordans” and become an expert for a hot minute. Better safe than sorry, that’s my motto.
I also saw a reference to WSS and Laced, which, like, are they in competition with Shoe Palace or something? I don’t know, I got a little sidetracked. Maybe those are also options if you are trying to find some Js but the main question here is about shoe palace.
